COMEDK 2016 Eligibility Criteria
The eligibility criteria of COMEDK 2016 is as follow: 
For Engineering Course
·       In the last two years of 10+2/second PCU/Equivalent examination, candidates must have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English as the core subjects. 
·        The candidates must have secured an aggregate of 45% marks in PCM. Whereas, the same for candidates belonging to SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka is 40% marks. 
·        Apart from the criteria above, the candidates must have also passed in all the subjects, which were in the qualifying exam.
·         Diploma holders are not eligible to write COMEDK 2016
Note: An attempt in the COMEDK Entrance Test seeking admission to Engineering courses is considered adequate for figuring in the rank list
For Architecture Course
·        Candidate should have appeared for NATA 2016 and must have secured, at least, 80 marks out of 200 marks. 
· Candidates must have studied Mathematics in 10+2/Second PCU/Equivalent exam. 
·        Also, general category candidates should have secured an aggregate of 50% marks. However, the same for SC, ST and OBC candidates of Karnataka is 45%. 
·        10+3 Diploma holders, from an institite recognized by Central/State Government, are also eligible for COMEDK 2016 B.Arch admission, provided they fulfil the criteria above.
Note: There will be no entrance test for admission in B.Arch course because the NATA score will be considered for the same. However, candidates seeking admission in B.Arch will have to fill a separate application form.  
COMEDK 2016 Application Form
The COMEDK 2016 application form is only available online and candidates cannot submit it via any other mode. To fill the form, candidates will have to access the link given above and then click on “Login if already registered or click here to register.” Next, candidates will have to fill certain required details in the registration form.
Once the registration is done successfully, a User ID and Password will be allocated to the candidates. With the help of it, candidates will be able to login and fill details in the application form of COMEDK 2016. To submit the application form, remitting the fee amount is mandatory. The application fee for PCM/PCB is Rs. 1200. However, the same for PCMB is Rs. 1500. Candidates can submit it online and offline.
Note: Unlike last year, candidates need not send the confirmation page to COMEDK. Instead, are required to get it attested by the head of institute last attended and bring it along in counselling round.
COMEDK 2016 Admit Card
Issuance of COMEDK admit card 2016 will begin in April 2016. It will only be issued online, for those candidates who will submit the form in time and in exact prescribed format. Candidates may download the form from the link which will be available here after the release. To download it, candidates will have to submit the E-Mail ID and the Password.  
It is a vital document, on the basis of which, the entry in exam hall will be granted to the candidates. Those who will not carry it will be banned from entering the exam hall or write the exam.
·         Impersonation another person is a crime and will make candidates ineligible to write the exam.
·         If candidates have any issue regarding information in it, then the authority must be contacted. No manual alteration will be accepted in COMEDK 2016 hall ticket. 
COMEDK 2016 Exam Pattern
COMEDK 2016 will be a 3 hours exam, in which candidates will have to solve 180 MCQ of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology. The engineering aspirants need not attempt English Language section. However, those who have applied for PCB and PCMB will have to write 60 MCQs of English as well. Candidates will be awarded 1 mark to opt each question, correctly. Favourably, the negative marking will not be applicable, providing candidates with the chance to opt answers randomly, relying on their luck. the table below help candidates in understanding the COMEDK 2016 exam pattern better.

Hence, PCM paper is for 120 + 60 = 180 marks and the PCB paper will be for 120+120 = 240 marks. However, the PCMB will be for 300 marks.
COMEDK 2016 Answer Key
The answer key of the exam will be released by the official conducting body on the date given above. However, various private institute will also release it. Below we have given previous COMEDK 2016 answer key
COMEDK 2016 Result
The Consortium will release the result of the examination on 28 May 2016. However, the rank of it will be announced in 1st or 2nd week of June. Both, result and rank, will be released on the official website and candidates may check it from the Applicants Login, by submitting the E-mail ID and the Password. 
COMEDK 2016 Counselling
The counselling of COMEDK 2016 will be held in offline mode. Candidates first need to get their documents verified and only then they will be allowed to register for the counselling. Then, at the reporting center the seat will be allocated to the candidate, on the basis of her/ his merit, seat availability and preference of the candidates.
