Migrants for registration to the "Common Entrance Test-2016" for admission to Medical/ Dental/Engineering and other Professional Courses in the state of Karnataka for the academic year 2016-17

Commencement of Entry of Application Online: 13th January 2016
Last Date to Enter Application Details Online: 13th February 2016
Last Date to Pay the Fees in the Banks specified 15th February 2016

Common Entrance Test - 2016 Time Table
For 04th May 2016 (Wednesday, 10.30 am to 11.50 am for Biology - 60 Marks) and;
For 04th May 2016 (Wednesday, 02.30 pm to 03.50 pm, for Mathematics - 60 Marks)
For 05th May 2016 (Thursday, 10.30 am to 11.50 am for Physics - 60 Marks) and;
For 05th May 2016 (Thursday, 02.30 pm to 03.50 pm, for Chemistry - 60 Marks)
For 06th May 2016 (Friday, 11.30 am to 12.30 pm, for Both for Horanadu and Gadinadu Kannadiga Candidates - 50 Marks)

As per Rule 5 (1) of Karnataka Selection of
Candidates for Admission to Govt. seats in Professional Educational
Institutions Rules, 2006, No candidate shall be eligible for admission
to Govt. Seats unless he is a citizen of India and satisfies any one of
the eligibility conditions hosted on the KEA Website http://kea.kar.nic.in
The candidates who do not satisfy any of the
Clauses/Eligibility criteria will not be eligible for admission to
Professional Courses under Govt. quota seats through KEA
For Admission to 1st Year [Eligibility Criteria for CET 2016]
Medical/Dental (MBBS/BDS): Passed
in 2nd PUC/12th Std./Equivalent Exam with English as one of the
Languages and obtained a Minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate in
Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects (Aggregate of three) (40% for
SC/ST, CAT-1, 2A, 2B, 3A & 3B category candidates)
In CET-Exam: Minimum of 50% of marks in aggregate in PCB Subjects (40% for SC/ST, CAT-1, 2A, 2B, 3A & 3B category candidates)
Ayurveda, Homoeopathy, Unani, Naturopathy and Yoga (ISM & H): Passed
in 2nd PUC/12th Std./Equivalent Exam with English as one of the
Languages and obtained a Minimum of 50% of Marks in aggregate in
Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects (Aggregate of three) (40% for SC,
ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A & 3B category candidates)
In CET-Exam: No Minimum Marks prescribed in CET
Engineering/Technology (BE/B.Tech): Passed
in 2nd PUC/12th Std./Equivalent Exam with English as one of the
Languages and obtained a Minimum of 45% of Marks in aggregate in
Physics and Mathematics along with
Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Biology/Electronics/Computer (40% for SC/ST,
CAT-1, 2A, 2B, 3A & 3B category candidates)
In CET-Exam: No Minimum Marks prescribed in CET
Criteria for Determination of Merit/Rank: By taking marks in equal proportions in QE and CET in PCM subjects
Architecture (B.Arch): Passed
in 2nd PUC/12th Std./Equivalent Exam with Mathematics as Compulsory
optional subject and obtained a Minimum of 50% of Marks in aggregate in
all the subjects (45% for SC/ST/CAT-1, 2A, 2B, 3A & 3B category
candidates)
In CET-Exam: Minimum of 40% of Marks in NATA for all categories of students including SC/ST and Other Backward Classes
Note: For admission to
Architecture Course candidate should compulsorily appear for NATA
conducted by the Council of Architecture. The last date to appear for
NATA is on or before 20th May 2016 and last date to submit the NATA Score Card to KEA is on or before 24th May 2016

B.Sc (Agriculture, Forestry, Sericulture, Agri Biotech, Horticulture), B.H. Sc (Home Science): Passed in 2nd PUC/12th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as optional subjects
B.Tech (Food Technology, Dairy
Technology), B.F. Sc (Bachelor of Fisheries Sciences), B.Tech (Food
Science and Technology), B.Sc (Ag Marketing and Co-operation): Passed in 2nd PUC/12th standard with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology as optional subjects
B.Tech (Agriculture Engineering): Passed in 2nd PUC/12th standard with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as optional subjects
Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc & A.H.):
Passed in 2nd PUC/12th standard and obtained an aggregate minimum of
50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English subjects (40% for
SC/ST/Cat-1, 2A, 3A and 3B category candidates)
In CET-Exam: No Minimum Marks prescribed in CET
B-Pharma: Passed
in 2nd PUC/12th Standard with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or
Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and obtained a Minimum of 45% of
Marks in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, Biology subjects. (40% for
SC/ST/CAT-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category candidates (or); Passed in
Diploma in Pharmacy Exam from an institution approved by the Pharmacy
Council of India under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act and has secured
minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST/CAT-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B category
candidates)
2nd Year B.Pharma: Passed
in Diploma in Pharmacy Examination from an institution approved by the
Pharmacy Council of India Under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act and has
secured minimum of 45% marks (40% for SC/ST, Cat-1, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B
category candidates)
In CET-Exam: No Minimum Marks prescribed in CET
Pharma-D: Passed in
2nd PUC/12th standard /equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry and
Biology or Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics; or Passed in Diploma in
Pharmacy Examination from an institutions approved by the Pharmacy
Council of India under Section 12 of the Pharmacy Act
In CET-Exam: No Minimum Marks prescribed in CET
